Freelancing: The Easiest Way to Make More Money

This was the classic mistake of not understanding your users (replace with “customers” if you are in business).

Like everyone else, I know how to use YouTube, MySpace, Flickr, and Facebook. A few years ago, in college, I was able to translate this knowledge into consultations with representatives of several venture capital firms who wanted to learn how young people are using consumer services online. Once a week I gave them a workshop on online music, videos, social media, etc., including showing how guys rate girls on Myspace. This was probably the biggest achievement of my life: showing how guys find profiles of hot girls to a group of venture capitalists.
